Existentially informed coaching
A space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. Drawing on existential philosophy, this coaching offers a thoughtful companion for life's deeper questions — not answers, but a richer relationship with uncertainty.

The Approach
"The unexamined life is not worth living."
— Socrates
Existential coaching does not offer a system to optimise or a set of tools to master. Instead, it invites you to turn towards your experience with honesty and curiosity — to meet your life as it is, rather than as you wish it were.
Sessions draw on the work of Viktor Frankl, Irvin Yalom, Simone de Beauvoir, Emmy van Deurzen, and others who believed that engaging with life's fundamental questions — rather than avoiding them — is itself a path to greater aliveness.
Questions
You might be wondering
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching focuses on the present and future — exploring goals, values, and decisions. It is not a clinical treatment and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If therapy feels more appropriate for you, I am happy to discuss which might be the better fit.
What does "existentially informed" mean?
It means our work together draws on existential philosophy — thinkers like Frankl, Yalom, and Sartre — to explore the deeper questions of human life: meaning, freedom, mortality, and connection. It is thoughtful, reflective, and deeply personal.
Who is this coaching for?
Anyone at a crossroads, feeling stuck, questioning their direction, or simply wanting to live more intentionally. You do not need to be in crisis — curiosity alone is enough.
What does a session look like?
Sessions are 50 minutes, held online or in person. We begin with what is alive for you right now, and move into reflection, questioning, and exploration at your pace — no agenda, no worksheets.
